Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine has a unique style which combines R&B with soul, gospel music and R&B. She's performed on Broadway and at the Democratic National Convention and in clubs and festivals throughout Europe. Sunshine's title is Denise White. Although she lives in Atlanta the place she was raised is Chester Pennsylvania. Her musical journey began in the church, where she sang as well as played piano. After attending Spellman College, Atlanta she began her musical journey on Atlanta's R&B musical scene. The first track to showcase her voice was called Stalk You which was a song from Japan's house 12 song. It has been re-mixed and is now element of her repertoire. The Fighting Temptations was the second soundtrack that she sang on. She was named the primary keyboardist in Tyler Perry's play Meet the Browns in 2005. Jennifer Holliday (a Grammy and Tony Award winner) approached her for the position of choir conductor for Dreamgirls in Atlanta for the National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was at the center of attention for America during the four performances per day at 2008's Democratic National Convention. Sunshine followed up with being asked to sing in the presence of President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
